Anabul Match: A New Feature to Find Furry Friends Near You

Got a dog but struggle to find the right playmate near home? Or a female cat that's ready to mate but you have no idea where to start? Or you just want your pet to have a morning walking buddy so they're more excited to get out?

Now there's a way — and it's all right inside Anabulku.

We're introducing Anabul Match: a new feature that helps you find other pets near you to play, walk, or mate.

What Is Anabul Match?

Anabul Match is a location-based matchmaking feature inside the Anabulku app. It works a lot like a dating app — but for your pet, not for you.

You'll see profile cards of other pets near you: photos, name, breed, age, distance from your location, temperament, and even vaccination status. Swipe right if you're interested, swipe left if it's not a fit. If the other pet's owner also swipes right, you match — and you can start chatting right away through the app's built-in chat.

Simple, but effective.

Three Modes to Choose From

Anabul Match has three modes to suit you and your pet:

🎾 Play (Playdate)

Find a playmate for your pet. Perfect for active dogs or cats that need social stimulation. Meet a friend with a similar character, then set up a time to meet at the park or at home.

🚶 Walk

Find a morning or evening walking partner. Ideal for dogs that need company on their exercise, while the pawrent gets to hang out with another owner too. Safer, and more fun.

💕 Mate

Find a breeding partner with clear filters: breed, age, sex, spay/neuter status, and even heat status. No more guesswork — the information is already on the profile card.

A single pet can be listed in more than one mode at once — depending on what you need right now.

How to Get Started with Anabul Match

1. Create a Match Profile for Your Pet

Before you can swipe, you'll need to build a match profile for your pet first. Fill in:

• Pet photos (up to several photos, so they're easier to recognize)
• A short bio — tell us a little about your pet's personality
• Preferred modes (play, walk, mate — you can pick more than one)
• Temperament tags — friendly, energetic, shy, calm, affectionate, and more
• Spay/neuter and heat status (for mate mode)
• Vaccination status — vaccinated pets get a special badge

2. Set Your Discovery Preferences

On the Match settings page, you can adjust:

• Search radius — from 1 km up to 50 km from your location
• Global mode — show pets from anywhere, not limited to a radius
• Vaccinated-only filter — if you only want to meet pets that are already vaccinated

3. Start Swiping

Swipe right to like, swipe left to skip. You can also tap a card to see the full details — more photos, the bio, and complete pet information.

4. Match and Chat

If you like each other, you match — and you can start chatting right away in the app's built-in chat. Coordinate where to meet, ask about each other's pets, or set up a time on the spot.

Vaccine Verified Badge 🛡️

Your pet's safety is a priority. Pets whose owners have confirmed their vaccination status get a Vaccine Verified badge on their profile.

You can also turn on the "Vaccinated Pets Only" filter in Match settings, so the only cards you see are from pets with confirmed vaccinations.

This matters especially for Mate and Playdate modes, where pets will interact directly.

Why Is This Different from Just Searching a Facebook Group?

Until now, when a pawrent wanted to find a playmate or breeding partner for their pet, it usually meant a Facebook group, a forum, or a WhatsApp community. That can work — but it isn't efficient:

• Posts get buried quickly
• There's no precise distance or breed filter
• Pet information is scattered across various comments
• There's no direct way to start a private conversation
• You have to ask about vaccination status one by one

Anabul Match brings all of that into one tidy flow: discover — match — chat. The key information is on the profile card from the start, not buried in a long conversation that leads nowhere.

Before your first swipe, make sure:

• Your pet's match profile is filled in completely (photos, bio, temperament tags)
• The modes you want are selected
• Your pet's vaccination status is updated on the profile
• The search radius is set to fit your area

Is my location shared with other users? No. All that shows on the profile card is an approximate distance (for example "1.2 km") — not your exact address or coordinates.
